DimOnOff officially launches its multi-technology approach at Contech tradeshow.

After many months of research and development, DimOnOff has managed to combine the use of 7 different telecommunication technologies into the most versatile hybrid control and monitoring system. This new system brings together EnOcean products for short range wireless batteryless sensors and controls, powerline communication relays and interfaces for short, medium and long range and harsh environments, XBEE wireless mesh networking, self discovery and self healing technology for relays and interfaces, low voltage twisted pair relays and interfaces, RS232/RS485 interfaces and WIFI and Ethernet devices.
All of those can be used in any combinations to cover all type of lighting control and automation situations. With every technology having its weaknesses and strengths, the new hybrid approach make it possible to easily switch to another technology only to work with the strengths of each. Dimonoff joins the EnOcean Alliance

Dimonoff Commits to EnOcean Standard for Energy-Harvesting Wireless Technology in Buildings

Québec City, 14 May 2009 - Dimonoff is pleased to announce that it has now officially joined the rapidly growing international family of members of the EnOcean Alliance. The EnOcean Alliance is a consortium of companies working to further develop and promote self-powered wireless monitoring and control systems for sustainable buildings by formalizing the interoperable wireless standard. With membership totalling 100 companies in the building services market from 20 different countries, the EnOcean Alliance offers over 350 interoperable products and deployments have reached over 100,000 buildings globally.

Dimonoff sees great potential in the wireless and battery-less sensor interface already being deployed by various members of the Alliance. ", said Bernard Têtu, President at Dimonoff.   All parties also find mutual interest in complementing this flexible wireless technology with DimOnOff's Powerline and low voltage wired technologies. The combination of these technologies provides the most complete and flexible solution to any type of installation, including very large buildings and older building retrofits at the right total cost of ownership. New product launch at mcee - doo-rel-r-3x3

Dimonoff has shown for the first time to MCEE visitors it's new lighting control relay designed for T5HO multi-ballasts fluorescent fixtures. This relay features three independently controlled outputs. It is therefore possible to obtain 1/3, 2/3 or 3/3 of the total light output, offering additional energy savings. Its distinctive innovation resides in the modules' ability to constantly optimize each lamp burn-time by automatically selecting at each start which lamps should be used in regards to their current cumulated burn-time.
