DimOnOff® History
DimOnOff has roots that date back to 1991, when cofounder Pierre Chaput created Cristal Controls, which was to become one of the most successful Energy management systems manufacturer in Canada.
In April of 2005, Mr. Chaput and DimOnOff President Bernard Têtu began to work with visionary micro-electronic manufacturers to develop innovative powerline carrier solutions to meet industrial-class control & monitoring hardware and software needs.
With a 20-year background in supply chain management software, Mr. Têtu understood the value that leveraging such concepts could bring to the energy management and controls processes of industrial corporations, commercial buildings and large housing owners. Coupled with the power and connectivity of the Internet, energy management and intelligent controls have delivered the same bottom-line and process improvement benefits to large enterprises that supply chain management had brought to manufacturing and transportation.
With a headquarters R&D and pre-production facilities established in Quebec City, Canada, DimOnOff already has listed distributors in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary.
