DESCRIPTION

The DimOnOff CTL-KEY-NX Controllers are designed to be integrated in DimOnOff control & automation networks. In conjunction with any of DimOnOff modules, the user can build sophisticated automated environments including lighting, heating and cooling, window shutters, energy monitoring, etc.This compact and versatile design features 6 buttons. Each button can be programmed to transmit 3 different scenarios, corresponding to one of the 3 actions: Hit, Maintain and Release.As with all other modules of the DimOnOff automation series, the configuration of this control keypad is done remotely, using the DimOnOff software. But once this operation has taken place, the CTL-KEY-NX and all other modules will be fully autonomous, and will not necessitate the presence of a computer or central controller on the network.

Notes & Instructions

  • Unless ordered preconfigured, DimOnOff configuration software is required to configure the RTM interface to the CTL-KEY-NX module and is sold separately.

  • Read and understand all instructions before beginning installation.
  • CAUTION: FOR USE WITH CLASS 2, LOW VOLTAGE SYSTEMS ONLY. DO NOT USE IN HIGH VOLTAGE APPLICATIONS.
  • NOTICE: For installation by a licensed electrician in accordance with National and/or local Electrical Codes and the following instructions.
  • Confirm device ratings are suitable for application prior to installation. Use of device in applications beyond its specified ratings or in applications other than its intended use may cause an unsafe condition and will void manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Use only approved materials and components (i.e. wire nuts, electrical box, etc.) as appropriate for installation.
  • ALL EXCESS CABLE MUST BE REMOVED FROM WALL BOX PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.

Connection between CAT5 cable and switch connection port must remain straight and true without interference or pressure from excess or misaligned cable.
