CAB-MIO-vvv wireless PLC Multi I/O Interface

OVERVIEW

The CAB-MIO is a multi-purpose wireless PLC transceiver part of the DimOnOff® Building automation series that allows interfacing between a wide variety of  measurement devices enabling:

  • Remote data acquisition of various instruments, such as:
    • Pulse generators

ex: electricity, water or vapour flow

    • Temperature - Pressure - Humidity - Occupancy sensors, Photocells, etc.
    • Control of remote loads via Commands & Scenarios, based on various measurement thresholds (Hi-Low scenarios) or deadband variations (ex: dimming commands to a specific Group).

The board features 6 entirely independent I/Os which can be configured remotely to send/receive digital signals or receive an analog value.

It also features pulse counter functions, e.g. continuously counting pulses, scale factors, transmission time intervals, etc.

All data communicated will be recorded by the DimOnOff® Configuration, Control & Monitoring software, to build historical datasets and analysis graphs.

With these different modules, complex automation environments can be designed and operated.

As a result, installation costs are substantially reduced, and control/automation networks are easily modified or expanded, simply by remote programming, since there is now a virtual link between all controlling and controlled modules.

FEATURES

  •
    • 6 independent I/Os configurable as digital input, digital output and analog input
    • LED indicators for Power, CPU, CFG and Tx/Rx
    • RX-TX, with user-selectable repeating feature
    • Designed to create flexible, smart automation systems for institutional, commercial and industrial lighting
    • Enables remote monitoring of equipment, and remote control of DimOnOff® relays, localy or over the Internet (Specify MOD-ETH, PLC-Ethernet modem)
    • Reliable wireless PLC communication in high attenuation (0.5Ω min.) and noisy electrical environments
