OVERVIEW
The INT-XB is a Powerline communication Rx/Tx (Transmit/Receive) and RF (2.4GHz radio frequency signal) that enables communication with DimOnOff XB products.
By using 2 INT-XB modules, it becomes easy, economical and simple to:
- Build an "aerial data bridge", enabling simple coupling of powerline communication between different types of voltages
- Build an "aerial data bridge", enabling communication between 2 sides of a transformer,
- between 2 systems of a different voltage, without having to build a physical electronic passive bridge which would be more costly to install (Ex: Powerline communication signal repeated between 347 and 120VAC)
- Build an "aerial data bridge", between buildings at distances up to 1 miles (1.6km) LOS.
With these modules, complex automation environments can be developed simply and commissioned quickly and economically.

- The INT-XB must be installed onto an electrical box with proper size. Typically, an electrical metallic enclosure 4-11/16 x 4-11/16
- Only used for junction boxes where min. 90°C wiring is used.
- These devices are intended for installation in accordance with your local electric code and regulations. It is recommended that a qualified electrician perform this installation.
- A transmitter is required to communicate with the module and is sold separately. (Specify MOD-USB or MOD-ETH to be used with DimOnOff® Configuration, Control & Monitoring software)
