OVERVIEW
Developed following the growing popularity of the 6-lamp T5HO fluorescent lighting fixtures, DimOnOff engineered a Powerline wireless PLC control relay (Receive only) with 3 independent outputs, which allows the remote control of 3 loads: up to 3 amps for each 3 resistive loads, or 1.3 Amps for each 3 fluorescent ballast - 347V.
No control wire to install. This addressable and intelligent relay is a real cost-saver on installation fees, because it connects directly on the existing electrical wires, and does not need any additional control wire. It uses wireless Powerline communication PLC to communicate with the various DimOnOff controls. It greatly facilitates automation and the deployment of energy management policies, such as:
- - Control of Lighting levels: possibility of 3 levels: 2-4-6 lamps, or 1-2-3 ballasts
- - Timers and Pre-programmed Scenarios
- - Scheduling
This relay is used in conjunction with one or several controls (Rx/Tx) such as:
- - Remote control Programmable keypads (CTL-KEY)
- - Presence sensors or Light sensors (Sensor board INT-MIO)
- - Directly with the DimOnOff Configuration, Control, Monitoring & Automation Software.
With the different modules of the DimOnOff product line, complex automation environments can be engineered and operated simply and more economically than traditional wired systems.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Disconnect power at the circuit breaker before installation.
- Open the electrical junction box and identify the Line, Neutral and Ground wires. Identify the conductor that supplies power to the lamp that you want to control.
- Attach the REL-R-3X3 inside the metal electrical box using the module mounting bracket. Connect the supply Ground wire (G) together with the module mounting bracket and the grounding screw.
- Disconnect the Line wire that had supplied power to the lamp that you want to control.
- Connect the disconnected wire of the lamp to the Blue lead (Output 1), Orange lead (Output 2) or Purple lead (Output 3) of the REL-R-3X3. Connect the supply Line wire (L) to the Black lead of the REL-R-3X3.
- Connect the white lead of the REL-R-3X3 together with the supply Neutral wire (N).
- Use screw wire connectors for all connections. Check that all connections are tight and there is no exposed bare conductor.
- Place wires and module into the electrical box.
- Close the box and restore power.
