OVERVIEW
Member of the DimOnOff® Public lighting automation series, the REL-RT-5-MON is a Powerline (Receive &Transmit) load relay that provides remote control of loads up to 5 Amps-347V-1phase, and enables automation and daylight harvesting features when used with one or more transceivers, such as:
- A presence or light sensor (INT-MIO sensor board), Remote control keypads (CTL-KEY Keypad Controllers), Directly with the DimOnOff® Configuration, Control & Monitoring software.
The module features a rugged design that allows to be installed inside the compartment of an HID lamp or at the base of luminaries' pole.

Cautions & notes
Only used for junction boxes where min. 90°C wiring is used.
These devices are intended for installation in accordance with your local electric code and regulations. It is recommended that a qualified electrician perform this installation.
A transmitter is required to communicate with the module and is sold separately. (Specify CTL-KEY Powerline keypad, INT-MIO sensor board, or MOD-USB or MOD-ETH to be used with DimOnOff® Configuration, Control & Monitoring software)
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Disconnect power at the circuit breaker before installation
- Open the electrical compartment and identify the Line, Neutral and Ground wires.
- Identify the conductor that supplies power to the load that you want to control.
- Attach the REL-RT-5-MON inside the electrical compartment using the module mounting bracket. Connect the supply Ground wire (G) together with the module mounting bracket and the grounding screw.
- Disconnect the Line wire that had supplied power to the load that you want to control.
- Connect the disconnected wire of the fixture to the Blue lead of the REL-RT-5-MON.
- Connect the supply Line wire (L) to the Black lead of the REL-RT-5-MON.
- Connect the white lead of the REL-RT-5-MON together with the supply Neutral wire (N).
- Close the compartment cover and restore power
