The beautiful walkwalk located along the St-Lawrence river is lit by many streetlights spread along its lenght. During the summer period, various activities are held at various locations along the walkway. Before adding control modules, the city had to send electricians on a regular basis to disconnect and to reconnect some of the lights in order to create darker zones to maximise the visual impact while the activities would take place. Since the various activities are not always held at the same location, regular intervention by electricians were required. It is now possible for the event manager to set the required lighting scene by the simple press of a button on a keypad, every light will either turn on or off depending on the preset scenarios.  All of this without requirering the intervention of electricians who are now busy on more productive tasks.
