Powerline 300 Watts Load Module
OVERVIEW
/ DOO-R-LM-0.3
The DOO-R-LM-0.3 is 300 watts Powerline relay that enables remote control of lighting systems and is also used in conjunction with mechanical relays for larger loads.
The module features a small and compact design that allows to be installed inside metal electrical boxes for lighting fixtures.
The DOO-R-LM-0.3 (Receive-only) is designed to be used in conjunction with one or more transceivers (e.g., DOO-RT-Key-6 Keypad Controllers, DOO-RT-MIO sensor board, DOO-RT-Lux LuxMeter, etc.), or directly with the DimOnOff® Configuration, Control & Monitoring software. With these different powerline modules, complex automation environments can be designed and operated.
As with all other powerline modules of the DimOnOff® automation series, the configuration of this Load module is done via powerline, using the DimOnOff® software.
But once this operation has taken place, the DOO-R-LM-0.3 (and all other powerline modules) will be fully autonomous, and will not necessitate the presence of a computer on the network, unless functionalities such as scheduling or data acquisition are required.
FEATURES
- Designed to create flexible, smart automation systems for residential, commercial and industrial use
- Remotely control the DimOnOff® modules over the power lines, or over the Internet (Specify DOO-Mod-Eth, Powerline-Ethernet modem)

- Set value level: Set load intensity to a specified level
- Increase/Decrease: Manually increase or decrease level at a rate programmed by the user.
- Night mode: Set current operation to a programmed Night level (Max. level) on Ramp up and Set On commands
- Generic Timers: Sends a command, then wait for a specified number of seconds before sending the next command. It is possible to chain up to 5 Generic timers or Delayed timers, to create sequences (5 programmable Generic timers available)
- Delayed Timers: Wait for a specified number of seconds before sending a command. It is possible to chain up to 5 Delayed timers or Generic timers, to create sequences (5 programmable Delayed timers available)
PROGRAMMABILITY
The DOO-R-LM-0.3 relays are configurable modules. Each relay can be easily programmed in order to implement personalized set-ups. DimOnOff® Inc. has designed a full-featured software platform, for the complete management of a DimOnOff® powerline infrastructure, including:
- Module configuration
- Creation/Editing of the user-defined library of Scenarios - Commands - Groups - Schedules
- Creation/Editing of Multi-buildings, Multi-floors, Multi-rooms navigation interface and Module layouts.
- Database management
- Communication management with Remote Powerline-Ethernet modems
- Data logging
CAUTIONS AND NOTES
- The DOO-R-LM-0.3 must be installed inside fixtures or into an electrical box with proper size.
- Only used for junction boxes where min. 90°C wiring is used.
- Do not install ceiling surface mounted luminaries with incandescent lamp directly under the junction box where the module is installed. Only pendant or wall mounted luminaries may be used.
- These modules are intended for installation in accordance with your local electric code and regulations. It is recommended that a qualified electrician perform this installation.
- Dimming function is intended for use with incandescent lights only.
- A transmitter is required to communicate with the module and is sold separately.
WIRING

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Disconnect power at the circuit breaker before installation.
- Open the electrical junction box and identify the Line, Neutral and Ground wires. Identify the conductor that supplies power to the lamp that you want to control.
- Attach the DOO-R-LM-0.3 inside the metal electrical box using the module mounting bracket. Connect the supply Ground wire (G) together with the module mounting bracket and the grounding screw.
- Disconnect the Line wire that had supplied power to the lamp that you want to control.
- Connect the disconnected wire of the lamp to the Blue lead of the DOO-R-LM-0.3. Connect the supply Line wire (L) to the Black lead of the DOO-R-LM-0.3.
- Connect the white lead of the DOO-R-LM-0.3 together with the supply Neutral wire (N).
- Use screw wire connectors for all connections. Check that all connections are tight and there is no exposed bare conductor.
- Place wires and module into the electrical box.
- Close the box and restore power.
