Powerline USB Modem
OVERVIEW / DOO-MOD-USB
Part of the DimOnOff® Powerline product line, the DOO-MOD-USB Powerline Modem is ideal for enabling Monitoring & Control, Scheduling, Diagnostic and Automation, communicating directly through a USB Port, with a local computer that will be managing Scheduling functions and Data acquisition.
If an Ethernet connection is available on site, the local PC can be used as a Server that will be accessible through Ethernet to other remote PC equipped with the DimOnOff® Client software.
The DOO-MOD-USB Powerline Modem is a device designed to enable communication of Powerline data between VAC power lines (120 to 347) and a PC via USB. An analog front end performs the signal conditioning and couples the modulated signals with the power lines. The module is powered by a built-in power supply.
The DOO-MOD-USB Powerline Modem will communicate with the PC, enabling the DimOnOff® Software platform to monitor activity (Commands-Scenarios sent by other modules such as Keypads, Lux sensors, etc), as well as controlling various powerline modules on the site’s powerline network via the DimOnOff® software Scheduling features, as they are now communicating on a same extended network.

DimOnOff® Configuration, Control & Monitoring software is required to communicate with the modem and is sold separately.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Connect the DOO-MOD-USB Powerline Modem to your PC using a USB cable.
- Plug the DOO-MOD-USB plug connector to a 120VAC, 60Hz outlet.
