OVERVIEW / DOO-RT-SSR-20
Member of the DimOnOff® building automation series, the DOO-RT-SSR-20 is a Powerline (Receive &Transmit) load relay that provides remote control of loads up to 20 Amps – 347-1V, and enables automation and daylight harvesting features when used with one or more transceivers, such as:
- A presence or light sensor (DOO-RT-MIO sensor board)
- Remote control keypads (DOO-RT-Key-6 Keypad Controllers)
- Directly with the DimOnOff® Configuration, Control & Monitoring software.
With these different powerline modules, complex automation environments can be designed and operated.

PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTIONS
The DOO-RT-SSR-20 includes various programmable functions, such as:
- Automatic On, on power up
- Generic Timers: Sends a command, then wait for a specified number of seconds before sending the next command. It is possible to chain up to 5 Generic timers or Delayed timers, to create sequences (5 programmable Generic timers available)
- Delayed Timers: Wait for a specified number of seconds before sending a command. It is possible to chain up to 5 Delayed timers or Generic timers, to create sequences (5 programmable Delayed timers available)
PROGRAMMABILITY
The DOO-RT-SSR-20 relays are configurable modules. Each relay can be easily programmed in order to implement personalized set-ups. DimOnOff® Inc. has designed a full-featured software platform, for the complete management of a DimOnOff® powerline infrastructure, including:
- Module configuration
- Module polling
- Creation/Editing of the user-defined library of Scenarios – Commands – Groups – Schedules
- Creation/Editing of Multi-buildings, Multi-floors, Multi-rooms navigation interface and Module layouts
- Database management
- Communication management with Remote Powerline-Ethernet modems
- Data logging
- Etc.
CAUTIONS AND NOTES
The DOO-RT-SSR-20 must be installed on an electrical box with proper size.
Only used for junction boxes where min. 90°C wiring is used.
These devices are intended for installation in accordance with your local electric code and regulations. It is recommended that a qualified electrician perform this installation.
A transmitter is required to communicate with the module and is sold separately. (Specify DOO-RT-Key-6 Powerline keypad, DOO-RT-MIO sensor board, or DOO-Mod-USB or DOO-Mod-Eth to be used with DimOnOff® Configuration, Control & Monitoring software)
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- ·Disconnect power at the circuit breaker before installation
- Open the electrical compartment and identify the Line, Neutral and Ground wires
- Identify the conductor that supplies power to the load that you want to control.
- Install the DOO-RT-SSR-20 on a 411/16x411/16 electrical box using the module mounting bracket. Connect the supply Ground wire (G) together with the module mounting bracket and the grounding screw.
- Disconnect the Line wire that had supplied power to the load that you want to control.
- Connect the disconnected wire of the load to the Blue lead of the DOO-RT-SSR-20.
- Connect the supply Line wire (L) to the Black lead of the DOO-RT-SSR-20.
- Connect the white lead of the DOO-RT-SSR-20 together with the supply Neutral wire (N).
- Close the compartment cover and restore power.
