Powerline Keypad Controllers
OVERVIEW / DOO-RT-KEY-6
The DimOnOff® DOO-RT-Key-6 Controllers are stand-alone transceivers, designed to be integrated in DimOnOff® control & automation networks.
They may replace standard switches, or be added anywhere on the power line (120V). In conjunction with any of the DimOnOff® Load Modules series, the user can build sophisticated automated environments including lighting, heating and cooling, window shutters, energy monitoring, etc.
The DOO-RT-Key-6 modules are designed on a modular concept that i ntegrates the Logic Module with the Analog Front End & Power Supply.
This compact and versatile design features 6 buttons. Each button can be programmed to transmit 3 different Scenarios, corresponding to one of the 3 actions: Hit, Maintain and Release.
As with all other powerline modules of the DimOnOff® automation series, the configuration of this control keypad is done via powerline, using the DimOnOff® software. But once this operation has taken place, the DOO-RT-KEY-6 (and all other powerline modules) will be fully autonomous, and will not necessitate the presence of a computer on the network, unless functionalities such as scheduling or data acquisition are required.

- Etc.
CAUTIONS AND NOTES
The DimOnOff® Configuration software is required to configure the DOO-RT-Key-6 module and is sold separately. If
The DOO-RT-Key-6 must be installed inside fixtures or into an electrical box with proper size.
Only used for junction boxes where min. 90°C wiring is used.
Do not install ceiling surface mounted luminaries with incandescent lamp directly under the junction box where the module is installed. Only pendant or wall mounted luminaries may be used.
These devices are intended for installation in accordance with your local electric code and regulations. It is recommended that a qualified electrician perform this installation.
Dimming function is intended for use with incandescent lights only.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Disconnect power at the circuit breaker before installation.
- Open the electrical junction box and identify the Line, Neutral and Ground wires. Identify the conductor that supplies power to the lamp that you want to control.
- Attach the DOO-R-LM-0.3 inside the metal electrical box using the module mounting bracket. Connect the supply Ground wire (G) together with the module mounting bracket and the grounding screw.
- Disconnect the Line wire that had supplied power to the lamp that you want to control.
- Connect the disconnected wire of the lamp to the Blue lead of the DOO-R-LM-0.3. Connect the supply Line wire (L) to the Black lead of the DOO-R-LM-0.3.
- Connect the white lead of the DOO-R-LM-0.3 together with the supply Neutral wire (N).
- Use screw wire connectors for all connections. Check that all connections are tight and there is no exposed bare conductor.
- Place wires and module into the electrical box.
- Close the box and restore power.
