REL-R-3x3-flt relays

Wireless RF mesh REL-XB-3x3 and REL-XB-20 relays + EnOcean remotes
Designed with 4, 6 or more lamps multi-ballasts fixtures in mind, the (REL-XB-3X3) relay provides 3 independent outputs for up to 3 loads of 3 amps each at 120 to 347V.
This addressable and intelligent relay allows for substantial installation savings by mounting directly on the fixture. It requires no control wires by making use of radio waves to communicate with DimOnOff's controls thus greatly simplifying design and commissioning.
Main features:
The CTL-KEY keypad interface is programmable to any of the scenarios desired by the customer, each button may trigger 2 functions depending if it is pressed and released quickly or maintained then released, a single keypad can therefore trigger up to 12 different lighting scenarios. Keypads are connected to CAB-MIO-XB interfaces that will convert its commands to radio waves. That same interface may be used to integrate various sensors in the system. Also a version of that interface links battery less wireless switches using EnOcean technology.
To simplify on site implementation, DimOnOff offer the option of preconfiguring at factory jobs kits « relays - keypad(s) » by identifying where to install each relay at the site. This method makes the project fully operational right at power up. If changes in scenarios were desired afterward, they can be reconfigured at will over the air without going up a ladder or touching a wire.
A typical 6 lamps T5HO fixture uses 351w or 58.5w per lamp (ballast included) when all lamps are ON. Savings can be achieved by adjusting the light intensity to what is required for each task. Here are a few examples: 2 lamps ON (or 1/3) = 117 watts for general use, 4 lamps ON (or 2/3) = 234 watts for everyday games, full intensity for high level games, a minimal level for security when vacant and other special levels for events such as a concert or a movie projection.
All lights ON: Usage : 11232w total saving 0w
1/3 or 33% lights ON : Usage : 3744w total saving 7488w
2/3 or 66% ON: Usage : 7488w total saving 3744w
Movie (only 4 lamps at rear) : Usage: 468w total saving 10764w
Security (corner lamps + 2 at center): Usage : 702w total saving 10530w
Note : more than one security scenarios may be created to alternate from day to day
Assuming the following operating hours:
6hrs/week - (3 periods of 2 hours): All_ON
3hrs/week - (2 periods of 1.5 hours): Movie projection
42hrs/week - (6hrs per day 00:00-06:00): Security
77hrs/week - (11hrs per day): 1/3
40hrs/week - (around 6hrs per day): 2/3

** Not recommended because a minimum security level should be left.
Savings on maintenance will also be achieved from longer periods between lamp replacements, due to reduced burn time and using the Dynamic burn time balancing.
