Revitalizing the Future of Smart Cities: Naomih Dalpé Joins Dimonoff to Boost Business Development
We’re thrilled to welcome Naomih Dalpé to our sales team at Dimonoff! As our new Business Development Director, Naomih will play a pivotal role in expanding the reach of SCMS, our smart lighting management platform, to cities and municipalities across North America.
To help you get to know her better, we sat down with Naomih for one “last interview”, covering both her professional journey and a few personal insights.
Tell us about your career path
I actually started in communications, but I truly found my calling in business development! Since 2018, I’ve worked with various tech and SaaS companies, wearing multiple hats, including sales, account management, marketing, and customer success. you name it! (I’ve pretty much done it all, haha.).
What’s your philosophy when it comes to sales?
Helping, plain and simple. My job is to listen, yes, but more importantly, to understand what people are trying to achieve and offer them the right solutions to get there. I love that moment when everything clicks and you know you’ve delivered real value. For me, it’s never just about pushing a product; it’s about building an authentic relationship rooted in transparency and added value. Honestly, if I didn’t find purpose in what I do, I’d probably be teaching yoga on a beach somewhere… with no sales pipeline in sight, haha.
What are your goals at Dimonoff ?
I want to deeply understand our solutions so I can better support our clients and partners, all while integrating into the team with a collaborative, fun spirit! I’m also excited to help grow Dimonoff’s reach, both here at home and internationally. What we do has a real impact on the quality and sustainability of our communities, and I believe it’s important to share that expertise so more people can benefit from it.
In your opinion, what makes a great partner?
Transparency, clear communication, a collaborative mindset, and a shared desire to move things forward together with a common vision.
What’s your outlook on the smart city market?
The smart city market is buzzing and for good reason! Cities and municipalities are under pressure to achieve more with fewer resources. That’s where Dimonoff comes in: our solutions help lower environmental impact while making communities safer and more sustainable. I truly believe smart cities are essential to building a better future, and it’s deeply fulfilling to be part of that transformation, one project at a time.
Why did you choose to join Dimonoff?
I felt an instant connection, both on a personal and professional level. The team is strong, the product is brilliant, and I wanted to be part of something that truly makes a difference. I was also looking to re-engage with international business development, and this opportunity was a perfect match for my ambitions. The company, the market, the mission, it all resonated with me. It’s a challenge I felt ready and excited to take on!
What’s something we should know about you?
I’m often told I’m intens, in the best way! Haha. I bring a lot of energy to everything I take on, and I love pouring it into projects that excite me and help me grow. I’m all about keeping things positive, staying motivated, and fostering great team energy along the way.
