Dimonoff to Exhibit at the 2025 IES Street & Area Lighting Conference in New Orleans
We are excited to announce that Dimonoff will be exhibiting at the upcoming 2025 IES Street and Area Lighting Conference (SALC), taking place September 21-24, 2025, at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside in New Orleans, LA.
This annual conference is recognized as the premier event in North America for advancing knowledge and innovation in outdoor lighting. With a rich program of training sessions, seminars, networking opportunities, and a bustling exhibit hall, the event draws a diverse audience of utilities, municipalities, departments of transportation, engineering firms, manufacturers, researchers, and educators from across the U.S. and internationally.
Smart City Innovation in Action
Dimonoff will put the spotlight on its SCMS Management Platform, which is powering some of the most ambitious smart lighting projects in North America. Two major cities Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, are currently undertaking large-scale transformations of their street lighting infrastructure with Dimonoff’s technology at the core.
Grand Rapids, Michigan
The City of Grand Rapids is deploying 18,037 smart lighting nodes, creating a fully connected network of streetlights managed through the Dimonoff | SCMS Urban Asset Management Platform. This system gives officials real-time control and proactive alerts on failures, improving safety, cutting maintenance costs, and enhancing sustainability.
“The implementation of our smart street lighting solution represents a significant step towards building a more intelligent and eco-friendly urban landscape.”
Bernard Têtu, Founding President at Dimonoff Tweet
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Pittsburgh is replacing 36,536 outdated HPS fixtures with energy-efficient LEDs, all connected via Dimonoff’s wireless mesh network of RME smart nodes and G3+ gateways integrated with SCMS. The platform provides real-time monitoring of energy use and outages, while supporting compliance with the city’s “Dark Sky Lighting” ordinance to reduce light pollution.
Backed by $15 million in funding, the project boosts sustainability and positions Pittsburgh for future IoT applications.
“Our Smart City Management System will not only deliver immediate energy savings but also lay the groundwork for Pittsburgh’s future as a leader in smart city technology.”
